Info

In the year marking the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death, Leif Ove Andsnes performs the composer’s final three piano sonatas. These remarkable works, the culmination of Beethoven’s writing for the piano, range from the luminous lyricism of the Sonata in E major, Op. 109, through the inward intensity of Op. 110 to the uncompromising vision of his final Piano Sonata, Op. 111.
