On 28 March, the Philharmonic String Sextet Berlin presented a chamber concert entitled “Tradition and Openness”, featuring works by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The performers were Cornelia Gartemann (violin), Christoph von der Nahmer (violin), Julia Gartemann (viola), Martin von der Nahmer (viola), Knut Weber (cello) and Stephan Koncz (cello).
On 29 March, Roxana Natalia Wisniewska Zabek (violin), Eduardo Rios Silva (violin), Joaquín Riquelme García (viola), Solène Kermarrec (cello) and Andraž Golob (clarinet) performed a chamber concert entitled “Farewell to the Beautiful World”. The programme featured works by Alexander Glazunov and Johannes Brahms.
On 30 March, the brass ensemble of the Berliner Philharmoniker presented a programme entitled “Music from Five Centuries”, performed by Guillaume Jehl (trumpet), Tamás Velenczei (trumpet), Sarah Willis (horn), Olaf Ott (trombone), Jesper Busk Sørensen (trombone), Stefan Schulz (trombone), Alexander von Puttkamer (tuba), David Guerrier (trumpet), Bertold Stecher (trumpet), Jonathon Robert Ramsay (trombone) and Franz Schindlbeck (percussion).
On 30 March 2026, Johanna Pichlmair (violin), Rachel Schmidt (violin), Tobias Reifland (viola), Kyoungmin Park (viola), Moritz Huemer (cello) and László Gál (horn) presented Chamber Concert III of the Easter Festival in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum Salzburg under the title “Counterpoint Mozart & Salieri”, featuring works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri.
On 3 April, Hande Küden (violin), Angelo de Leo (violin), Joaquín Riquelme García (viola) and Solène Kermarrec (cello) performed a chamber music programme built around works poised “Between Crisis and Awakening”. The audience heard Mozart’s First Prussian Quartet and Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 9 in E flat major, op. 117.
On 4 April, animal sounds found their way into the programme. Stefán Ragnar Höskuldsson (flute), Dominik Wollenweber (oboe), Andraž Golob (clarinet and bass clarinet), Stefan Schweigert (bassoon), Johannes Lamotke (horn) and Matic Kuder (clarinet) performed works by Giuseppe Maria Cambini, Luciano Berio, Pavel Haas and Leoš Janáček.
On 4 April, the final Late Night of this year’s Easter Festival took place. Cornelia Gartemann (violin), Allan Nilles (viola), Ludwig Quandt (cello), Hendrik Heilmann (piano), Simon Rössler (percussion), Franz Schindlbeck (percussion) and Jan Schlichte (percussion) performed works by Arnold Schoenberg and Dmitri Shostakovich, including the ambitious arrangement for piano trio and percussion by Victor Derevianko and Mark Petarsk of his Symphony No. 15 in A major, op. 141.
