Biography
His father and grandfather introduced him to violin playing when Bastian Schäfer was five years old. After finishing high school, he studied with Igor Ozim in Cologne and Max Rostal in Berne. Alongside his orchestral work, Schäfer plays in several chamber ensembles. In his free time, he paints in oil and acrylic.
