Info
For the fifth time, the Kulturforum Berlin will be transformed into a large stage for the summer festival Ein Tag im Grünen.
This year the focus is on architecture – in keeping with Open Monument Day, which also takes place on this date. The buildings of the Kulturforum, themselves outstanding examples of modern architecture and in some cases listed monuments, offer a varied programme from 11 am to 7 pm with guided tours, workshops, talks, exhibitions, a church service and other activities.
On Scharounplatz, Berlin’s longest table invites visitors throughout the day to take a seat, listen to music and enjoy a range of culinary offerings.
There will be several guided tours in the Philharmonie: our popular family tour Our sound ship as well as architecture tours. On Scharounplatz, members of the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Karajan-Akademie will perform a surprise programme on Berlin’s most sustainable stage – the VeloStage. You will find the full programme in the event flyer.
