Info
His enthusiasm for early music is infectious: Reinhard Goebel combines a passion for Baroque repertoire with a profound understanding of historical performance practice. For many years, he has passed on this enthusiasm to the musicians of the Karajan-Akademie. This season, works by Johann Friedrich Fasch, Johann David Heinichen and George Frideric Handel showcase the energy, colour and virtuosity of the Baroque concerto. A highlight is Antonio Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons, in which four young violinists from the Akademie appear as soloists.
