This concert brings together jazz musicians with a particular flair for musical dialogue. Nils Kugelmann is equally compelling on clarinet and double bass. Together with pianist Shuteen Erdenebaatar, from Ulaanbaatar, he explores a richly atmospheric duo sound. Also returning to our jazz series is the Finnish pianist Iiro Rantala, this time with his trio and its characteristically energetic mix of virtuosity and humour.
