    Info

Parts of the German media are repeatedly criticized for being too one-sided, too left-leaning, lacking in diversity of opinion. When public broadcaster NDR recently dismissed journalist Julia Ruhs as host of the program Klar, accusations quickly arose that a conservative voice had been silenced. But what does it actually mean to be “conservative”? And when is a journalist considered “left”? Nikolaus Blome, Head of Politics & Society at RTL/ntv, and Georg Restle, Editor-in-Chief and Presenter of the political magazine Monitor, will discuss the topic with broadcast journalist Christiane Florin.
