Info
Classical, youthful, and exciting – the Karajan Academy’s concert unites musical contrasts. The evening begins with a Pasticcio featuring some of Mozart’s most beautiful melodies. Things take a chilling turn with texts and film music from Hitchcock’s Psycho, narrated by actor Martin Wuttke. Nostalgic and playful, Leoš Janáček’s wind sextet Mládí is a reflection on the composer’s youth, while the young Sergei Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1 is a spirited reinterpretation of classical models.
