The Philharmonie Berlin is not only a house of music, but also a place of encounters. Coming together, exchanging views, sharing common experiences: all of these things characterise the Philharmonie – and that is especially true on the Open Day. Take a look around, discover the unique architecture of the Philharmonie, get a glimpse behind the scenes and, above all, experience the music – with the Berliner Philharmoniker, with scholars from the Karajan Academy, in master classes, workshops and a horn flash mob. Our Education team has put together an exciting programme for the youngest guests, the Digital Concert Hall shows selected films, and the Museum of Musical Instruments is also nearby. Whether you are a regular guest or are visiting us for the first time, we warmly welcome you!

Admission is free of charge. We look forward to your visit!

Horn flash mob
All horn players (including those with home-made 'garden hose' instruments) are cordially invited to join in our horn flash mob at 3 pm. The meeting point is at 2.30 pm in the Philharmonic Garden; the sheet music can be downloaded here:
