“The Creation” with Daniel Harding

Alongside opera, the Salzburg Easter Festival also features great choral works: last night, the Berliner Philharmoniker brought the world into being anew with Haydn’s The Creation. The first rays of sunlight were as vividly present as the croaking of the first frogs. Vocal brilliance was provided by Louise Alder (soprano), Andrew Staples (tenor), Konstantin Krimmel (baritone) and the Bavarian Radio Chorus.
