After a rousing first concert in Osaka, the Berliner Philharmoniker’s Japan tour continued with a performance at the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater in Nagoya. Under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Beethoven’s Egmont – featuring Christina Landshamer and Masumitsu Miyamoto – was matched in emotional intensity by Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony. Following our last visit in 2023 with Kirill Petrenko, it was a real pleasure to return to the city. Thank you, Nagoya, for the warm welcome!
