Oboist Andreas Wittmann joins us on a visit to the famous Asakusa Shrine for a glimpse of old Tokyo. He also reflects on his almost forty years with the Berliner Philharmoniker, beginning in the Karajan era. There is a touch of melancholy too, as this most probably is Wittmann's last Asia tour with the orchestra.
