It’s become a tradition. When the Berliner Philharmoniker perform at Taipei’s National Concert Hall, a public viewing is set up for the crowds outside. And it happened again, this time with chief conductor Kirill Petrenko. As has so often been the case in the past, the most moving moment was the encounter between the orchestra members and their Taiwanese fans.
