The Berliner Philharmoniker and its chief conductor Kirill Petrenko have been ambassadors for UN refugee aid since 2021 – the first organisation to receive this status and to be part of the UN Refugee Agency’s “Circle of Friends”.

UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe has been working for more than 40 years as a national partner of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) for people on the run. It collects donations for UNHCR’s worldwide operations as well as for projects for refugees in Germany, and it informs the public about flight and the causes of flight.

UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe and the Berliner Philharmoniker are united in their concern to open up the prospect of a secure future for people on the run, in which they can once again take their fate into their own hands. The Berliner Philharmoniker support through individual campaigns and long-term projects with events and fundraising appeals, for example in context of our popular lunch concerts.

We would be delighted if you would join us on the path of this partnership and support this important project with your donations.

Protect refugees this winter

Give help now!

Every person deserves a roof that offers protection. With your donation, you can help UNHCR teams supply refugees with what they need to get through the winter and support those enduring the cold months ahead.

As a partner of UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe, we are making a targeted appeal for donations—through our broad communications on our website, in newsletters, and on social media, as well as at our January concerts at the Philharmonie. We ask you to join us: please help protect refugees this winter.

There are many ways to support the UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe and thus protect refugees and help them make a new start.
