Biography
Zoltán Almási received his musical training at the Academy in his native Budapest. In 1988 he was concertmaster of the World Youth Orchestra. From 1989 to 1991 he further refined his playing with Toru Yasunaga as a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker’s Orchestral Academy. Two years after joining the orchestra, he and three Philharmonic colleagues founded the Apos Quartet. In addition, Almási is a member of the Berliner Barock Solisten
