Biography
Alexandra Weissbecker has been playing the violin since the age of four. She began her musical training at the Music School of the Kazan State Conservatory, where she studied with Julia Vivat. In 2019 she joined the class of Pierre Amoyal at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, continuing her studies in 2022 with Stephan Picard at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin. She has also attended masterclasses with, among others, Kirill Troussov, Boris Kuschnir, Alexander Vinnitsky, and Maxim Vengerov. In 2025 she joined the Karajan Academy, becaming a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker the following year. Alexandra Weissbecker has won prizes in several prestigious competitions, including the International Anton Rubinstein Competition and the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University Competition.
