Biography
Members of the younger generation of the Berliner Philharmoniker came together in 2020 to pursue their passion for chamber music by forming the Philharmonisches Streicherensemble. The ensemble's ambition is to cultivate the internationally-acclaimed, unique string sound of the Berliner Philharmoniker in a smaller ensemble. In its concerts, the Philharmonisches Streicherensemble combines an intense, intimate atmosphere with a sound that is symphonic in character.
