Our association was founded in 1949 to provide the Berliner Philharmoniker with a new concert hall in the devastated post-war Berlin. Today it enables the purchase of high-quality instruments and the financing of special musical events. Another concern is the improvement of the Philharmonie’s technical equipment and the purchase of valuable documents for the archive.
As a member, you not only support these important projects, but also enjoy many benefits. For example, you can get to know musicians from the Berliner Philharmoniker in matinees and round-table discussions, experience the orchestra's rehearsals and receive preferential treatment when buying tickets.
