Soundtrack to a summer night
Look forward to an American evening at the end-of-season concert in the Waldbühne
Conductor and soloist Wayne Marshall outlines the programme of the final concert
An American night with George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, music from the musical On the Town and the film score On the Waterfront by Leonard Bernstein, plus a 30-minute tour of John William’s best-known soundtracks: that’s what awaits you this Saturday in our traditional end-of-season concert at the Waldbühne, conducted by Wayne Marshall. Percussionist Martin Grubinger presents a special edition of John Williams’ most famous film scores. The weather forecast promises temperatures of 25 degrees and we are looking forward to a wonderful, early summer open-air experience.
You can be there, too! Book your ticket now and celebrate the end of the season with us.
