Kirill Petrenko’s inauguration in the media

In cinemas, on the radio, on television and in the Digital Concert Hall

The inauguration of Kirill Petrenko as chief conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker is a special event. And it is being celebrated twice – with the season opening concert at the Philharmonie and the open-air concert at the Brandenburg Gate. For this joyful beginning of a new Philharmoniker era, no work could be more appropriate than Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with its magnificent final chorus of Schiller’s Ode to Joy.
