Two houses full of music: there is much to discover in the Philharmonie Berlin and the adjacent Museum of Musical Instruments — music, curiosities, surprises. Under the motto “Full sound ahead!”, both houses offer free guided tours for the whole family on the admission-free Sundays of the Berlin museums. Exciting and informative 90 minutes await visitors young and old. And afterwards you'll even know why there is a sea of sound in the Philharmonie and that in the Museum of Musical Instruments it's not pirate treasures but sausage bassoons and pocket violins that can be uncovered.

Visiting information:

  • Currently, 2G+ applies at the Philharmonie Berlin; in addition to proof of vaccination or convalescence, you also need a negative test result. For boostered persons, the additional vaccination obligation does not apply.
The 2G+ rule does not apply to children and young people under 18. They must show either a current negative test result (rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours or PCR test not older than 48 hours) or proof of complete vaccination or recovery. In order that the proof can be assigned accordingly at the admission control, it is necessary that children also bring an ID with a picture (e.g., child's or pupil's ID) to the event.
  • You must wear an FFP2 mask throughout the building. The general mask requirement also applies to children over the age of 6.
  • Keep at least 1.5 m away from other people.
