Death of Stephen Gould

The Berliner Philharmoniker mourn the loss of Stephen Gould, who has passed away after a serious illness at the age of just 61.  Stephen Gould was one of the outstanding heroic tenors of our time.  He worked with the Berliner Philharmoniker on several occasions, such as in 2018 when he took on the title role in Wagner's Parsifal at the Baden-Baden Easter Festival under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle.
