Traffic obstructions due to Berlin Marathon at the weekend

The BMW Berlin Marathon will take place on 24 and 25 September 2022. The route also runs in the immediate vicinity of the Philharmonie Berlin, which is why there may be traffic disruptions on the approach. The Philharmonie can only be reached via Potsdamer Straße on Saturday until 12 noon. After that, as in previous years, this street will be closed for the mini-marathon with around 10,000 schoolchildren and the subsequent inline marathon from Potsdamer Platz. The closures will last until about 19:30. The car park at the Sony Center will be accessible from Tiergartenstraße via Kemperplatz/Ben-Gurion-Straße.
On Sunday, the closures of the Potsdamer Straße will last from approx. 7:30 to approx. 17:00.
