Three scholarship holders of the Karajan Academy win auditions

Three scholarship holders of the Karajan Academy have qualified for auditions for positions in the violin section of the Berliner Philharmoniker: Eva Rabchevska, Roxana Wisniewska and Harry Ward.
Eva Rabchevska, who comes from Ukraine, studied under Zakhar Bron at La Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid and Antje Weithaas at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin. Roxana Wisniewska is also a graduate of the Madrid conservatoire, where she was a student of Ana Chumachenco. The Spaniard with Polish roots took her solo master in Dresden under Natascha Prischepenko. Harry Ward comes from Australia, where he most recently studied under Robin Wilson at the Australian National Academy of Music before continuing his training under Noah Bendix-Bagley, first concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker, at the Karajan Academy in 2021.
