Road closures due to Berlin Marathon

Due to the Berlin Marathon, there will be traffic restrictions and road closures around the Philharmonie on 28 and 29 September 2019. On Saturday, 28 September, the entire running course is closed to pedestrians and traffic from 2.30 pm to approx. 7 pm, on Sunday, 29 September, from 7.30 pm to approx. 5 pm. Please schedule more time to arrive for the concerts on Saturday and on Sunday.

Please use U-Bahn and S-Bahn to come the Philharmonie

It is highly advised to refrain from travelling with your own car and as far as possible to use the U-Bahn (line U2, stations Potsdamer Platz or Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park) or S-Bahn (lines S1, S2, S25, Station Potsdamer Platz). Since the running course cannot be crossed while the marathon is taking place, it is best to use the exit to the Sony or Beilsheim Center at Potstdamer Platz to get to the Philharmonie.
