Election of the media board and by-election of the orchestra board

Cellist Olaf Maninger and violinist Philipp Bohnen have been elected to the Berliner Philharmoniker‘s media board. Philipp Bohnen takes over the post from violinist Stanley Dodds, who had held the position since 2010 and did not stand for re-election.

The by-election for the orchestra board was won by violinist Eva-Maria Tomasi. She succeeds Knut Weber, who had been a member of the orchestra’s board since 2015. Horn player Stefan Dohr, a member of the orchestra’s board since 2020, will remain in office.

The Berliner Philharmoniker would like to thank Knut Weber and Stanley Dodds for their great work in times that were not always easy, and congratulate Eva-Maria Tomasi, Philipp Bohnen and Olaf Maninger on their election and re-election respectively.
