As in all Berlin’s cultural institutions, the exhibition in the PalaisPopulaire is currently closed – and yet it is still worth visiting the former Prinzessinnenpalais in Berlin’s Mitte district: until the beginning of January, the #KulturMarktBerlin is taking place there, where ten cultural institutions from Berlin and Potsdam, including the Berliner Philharmoniker, are presenting an exquisite selection of exclusive cultural gifts – from the current exhibition catalogue, design, music and selected gifts to limited art editions. Ideal for buying Christmas presents for arts-loving friends and family.
From the shop of the Berliner Philharmoniker, the #KulturMarktBerlin offers not only various Philharmoniker gift ideas, but also the recently released Petrenko edition, which documents the orchestra’s artistic collaboration with its chief conductor from the election in 2015 to taking up office.
Despite the restrictions imposed by the corona pandemic, this joint initiative of the PalaisPopulaire and Berlin's cultural institutions aims to maintain access to art and culture open to people away from the digital environment.
