Concerts in the Philharmonie will continue to be held: Additional rules apply

23 Dec 2021

The Berlin Senate has decided that concerts in the Philharmonie Berlin can continue to take place, but under stricter conditions. With regard to our New Year’s Eve concerts, this means that in addition to the 2G rule (admission only for fully vaccinated or recovered persons), a negative rapid test result taken on the day of the event is required for visitors. Furthermore, the wearing of an FFP2 mask is mandatory in the whole Philharmonie, including during the concert.

Consequently, please bring the following with you to your concert visit in addition to your ticket:

1. Your digitally verifiable vaccination/recovery certificate in one of the popular apps (CovPass app or Corona-Warn-App) or a printout (the yellow vaccination passport will not be accepted).

2. Your photo ID

3. Your recent negative test result from a recognised test centre (rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours or PCR test not older than 48 hours). You can find a list of Berlin test centres here: Corona test centres in Berlin

4. An FFP2 mask

Detailed information and our current hygiene instructions can be found under our visiting information.
