Due to the current pandemic situation and the associated travel restrictions, Mikko Franck has unfortunately had to cancel his participation in the concert with the Berliner Philharmoniker next Saturday at short notice. Daniel Barenboim, the orchestra’s honorary conductor, will conduct in his place. The programme has been partially changed and is now completely dedicated to the work of Johannes Brahms. His Symphony No. 1 and his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 will be performed with Yefim Bronfman as the soloist.
The concert will be broadcast live in the Digital Concert Hall on 24 April from 19:00.
