With the latest amendment to the Berlin Ordinance on the Containment of the Corona Pandemic, admission requirements for events at the Philharmonie Berlin have changed: as of 15 November 2021, compliance with the 2G rule is a mandatory condition for concert attendance. This means that only people who are fully vaccinated or recently recovered with EU digitally verifiable certificates will be admitted to events at the Philharmonie Berlin.
In addition, masks (FFP2 or medical) are still mandatory in the building, including during events. The new rules apply initially until 28 November 2021. From now on, a digitally verifiable vaccination/health certificate on one of the standard apps (CovPass app or Corona warning app) or a printout from the chemist must be presented at the entrance. Children and young people under the age of 18 can still show a recent negative test result (rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours or PCR test not older than 48 hours). People who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons are also exempt from the 2G rule and must show a recent negative test in addition to a doctor's certificate stating that they cannot be vaccinated.
