The choral programme of the Berliner Philharmoniker

Singing is the most direct and fundamental form of musical expression. To promote singing, a new sector within the education programme started from October 2013 which aims to create long-term spaces for singing and making music together. Venues for the choir rehearsals of the vocal heroes opened in various districts of Berlin.
All of Berlin sings
The purpose of this project is to promote local partnerships and neighbourly coexistence in addition to arts education and equal opportunities. The aim and highlight will be musical encounters between the musicians of the Berliner Philharmoniker and the vocal heroes in joint projects.
Are you already a vocal hero? Why not join us and become one!
Are you between 6 and 18 years old, and enjoy singing in the shower or when you are out on your bike, or with your friends in the playground or in music lessons? Or maybe you’d like to sing a song, but you’re too shy? If you like making music with others and enjoy being on stage, then come and join the vocal heroes, the choral programme of your city’s famous orchestra: the Berliner Philharmoniker!
Come to our rehearsals
You can come along to our rehearsals in Hellersdorf, Moabit or Schöneberg at any time and try it out, get to know us, and see if you like singing in a choir. With us you have the opportunity to work with real professional musicians, discover different styles of music, meet nice people and have fun making music together. If you like the choir rehearsals, you can become a permanent member of the vocal heroes and rehearse with us every week and even take part in great concerts. We look forward to seeing you!
