Kirill Petrenko and the Berliner Philharmoniker whisk their audience away to magical Russian fairytale worlds: Dark and gloomy sounds the evil wizard, graceful and exotic the firebird and folk-song-like-dancing the prince and princess. A homage to courage and humanity.
