Interactive Concerts for children between the ages of 3 and 5
Surrounded by the colourful glass windows of the Philharmonie Berlin, our interactive concerts invite even the youngest children to explore music, to laugh, move and investigate sounds and rhythms in a casual atmosphere. Four times during the season, the exhibition foyer of the Chamber Music Hall is transformed into alternating places of fantasy for children from three to five and the adults accompanying them. Young and old go on expeditions that always offer new perspectives on music.
Chamber ensembles from the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Karajan Academy present music of different genres at the highest artistic level. Two gaily coloured creatures spin tales full of dancing and fun from the music, entirely without words. The tonal colours of the instruments and the richness of classical music open the ears of the young and the young at heart. High spirits are guaranteed!
The four concerts are supplemented by a carefully designed season programme book that is available at the concerts. It introduces the instruments and inspires children to participate and work on creative activities at home before the concerts.
