Biennale 2023
Background information and more
With the Biennale of the Berliner Philharmoniker, we invite you to an exciting musical journey back in time to the 1950s and 1960s. After the devastation of the Second World War, the task at that time was to artistically shape a fundamentally new beginning. Although often referred to as the “leaden period”, the years after the Second World War were a fascinating epoch artistically. You can rediscover its experimental music and architecture during our Biennale from 9 to 26 February.
