Family Concert: The Four Seasons

Familienkonzert (photo: Benjamin Fueglister)

What do the gentle rustling of leaves in spring, a roaring thunderstorm in summer, a cheerful hunting party in autumn and bone-chilling cold in winter sound like? Antonio Vivaldi shows us all this in his concerto cycle The Four Seasons. It features a solo violin which imitates lightning, swarms of mosquitoes and a drunken farmer's hiccups. In this family concert for children aged 6 and over, the Berlin Baroque Soloists and Daishin Kashimoto, first concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker, guide us musically through the entire year.
