Philharmonie Berlin
Programme
We are opening our doors, inviting you to rediscover the Philharmonie Berlin. Be it in the Main Hall or the Chamber Music Hall, in the foyers or the Hermann Wolff Hall – music will be played everywhere. We’ll also be playing in the backstage area – meaning in rooms not otherwise accessible to our audience.
The programme is as colourful and varied as our Philharmonic season, ranging from chamber music to a number of music education events to jazz, piano, organ and world music. You can also expect exciting musical projects in the Philharmonic Garden and on the newly designed open spaces around the Philharmonie, as well as in the Museum of Musical Instruments, with which we are jointly organising this Open House Day.
The conclusion and high point of the day will be a concert by the Berliner Philharmoniker in the Main Hall with chief conductor Kirill Petrenko, consisting of works by Josef Suk and Iannis Xenakis. Come and explore the Philharmonie. We are looking forward to your visit!
