Programme

Clear, natural and yet refined – the French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau set standards with his music during the 18th century. Like no other, he was able to expressively and colourfully depict the entire panorama of human feelings, from aggressive fury to intimate tenderness. A perfect match for the dynamic, unconventional musical style of Teodor Currentzis and musicAeterna, who present selections from Rameau’s operas and ballets under the title “The Sound of Light”.
