Programme

In our chamber orchestra series, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra is concentrating this season on a decisive creative period in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s oeuvre: the “Mozart Momentum” project, which the orchestra developed jointly with the pianist Leif Ove Andsnes. “The years 1785 and 1786 were a high point for the development of the piano concerto,” Leif Ove Andsnes believes. At this concert two piano concertos Mozart composed in 1786 will be performed together with his “Prague” Symphony.
