In this Philharmonic discourse, Gero von Boehm talks to Ulrich Tukur, known in the German-speaking world as an outstanding theatre and film actor. But Ulrich Tukur is also a great musician. His great passion for music from the early 1920s to the late 1940s already began while he was studying in Tübingen, where he appeared as a street musician. In 1995 Ulrich Tukur founded the dance band Die Rhythmus Boys, which won a Jazz Award for its album Wunderbar.

Multiple award-winning Ulrich Tukur is one of the best known theatre and film actors in Germany. In the mid-1980s, he came to the attention of Peter Zadek, which resulted in a fruitful artistic collaboration. Between 1985 and 1995, he was a member of the ensemble of the Deutsche Schauspielhaus in Hamburg where he appeared in numerous leading roles.

His great passion for music from the early 1920s to the late 1940s began while he was studying in Tübingen where he appeared as a street musician. In 1995 Ulrich Tukur founded the dance band Die Rhythmus Boys, which won a Jazz Award for its album Wunderbar dabei zu sein. Ulrich Tukur talks to author, director and television producer Gero von Boehm.
