Ton Koopman and Wolfgang Huber in conversation

In the 2017/2018 season, the Philharmonic discourse takes the “ultimate questions” as the starting point for its musical considerations. To start off, the “Gretchen question” from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s tragedy Faust I: “Now tell me, where do you stand on religion?” To mark the jubilee of the Reformation, the conductor Ton Koopman and Bishop Wolfgang Huber discuss the influence of the Reformation on music.
