The Berlin Philharmonie is not just the house of the Berlin Philharmonic, it is also the stage for many other artists, ensembles and orchestras. Please note when buying tickets whether or not your chosen event is handled by the Stiftung Berliner Philharmoniker or a guest promoter.

The Berlin Philharmonie – a place for many

Tickets for concerts of the Berliner Philharmoniker Foundation are sold at the box office in the foyer of the Philharmonie, by telephone and via the Internet. Tickets for concerts of other organizers are available from a separate box office (“Gastkasse”), also located in the foyer of the Philharmonie, opposite the office of the Berliner Philharmoniker Foundation.

Box office in the Philharmonie

Opening hours ticket sale:
Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11 am to 2 pm
(except for 24, 25, 26 and 31 December, 1 January, 1 May and the Easter and Whitsun holidays)

The box office is open from 2 pm to 6 pm on Tuesdays when a Lunchtime Concert takes place.

Please note: The box office at the Philharmonie is closed from 1 July until 18 August. Tickets can only be booked online or by telephone during this period. Payment is only possible by credit card. Detailed information about the summer break can be found here.

Evening box office:
The evening box office opens one hour prior to the beginning of each concert.

Online orders:

Ordering tickets over the Internet is possible around the clock. On the Sundays on which new concert series are released for advance sales, the concerts are activated from 2 pm. Please note that due to the high demand on these particular days, there may be delays when buying tickets online.

Additional note: There is a fee of Euro 3.00 per ticket on all internet, telephone and written bookings.

Special Tickets for Concerts of the Berliner Philharmoniker

Concerts in the Philharmonie:

Subject to availability, choir- and additional seating is available exclusively from the box office two business days before the first evening of a concert series. Availability can be checked by telephone or at the box office itself.

For selected concerts, standing places are available. Standing places are only on sale at the box office on the day of the respective concert. Please check in advance regarding availability.

Discounts for young concertgoers:
For visitors up to the age of 28, the Berliner Philharmoniker Foundation holds a contingent of 50 tickets each for their concerts in the Philharmonie and the Chamber Music Hall. These can be purchased both online and at the box office of the Philharmonie. Proof of age must be shown on admission. All tickets for the Philharmonie cost €15, and €8 for the Chamber Music Hall. The online reservation fee is €3. The offer is valid for the respective programme from the first day of advance sales.

For holders of the berlinpass, tickets are available at the box office for €3, depending on availability.

Disabled guests

Special wheelchair positions are available at every concert. They can be purchased through normal advance booking, by phone or at the box office.

Guests with a severe disability (German disability code “B”) receive a complimentary ticket for an assistant companion.
