Tour of the Ruhr area with Ligeti’s “Le Grand Macabre”

On tour dates in Dortmund and Essen in February 2017, the Berliner Philharmoniker, Sir Simon Rattle and a top-class ensemble of singers presented György Ligeti’s anarchic and humorous opera Le Grand Macabre in a production directed by Peter Sellars which had already enjoyed success in Berlin
