2011 Asian Tour

In November 2011, the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sir Simon Rattle set off on their grand tour of of Asia, stopping off in South Korea, China and Japan. In addition to the Ninth Symphonies by Bruckner and Mahler, the programme also included Toshio Hosokawa’s Horn Concerto with the Philharmonikerʼs principal horn player Stefan Dohr.
