The 2022/23 season
On these pages, you can find out all about our new concert season – the music, the orchestra and chamber music series, the conductors and soloists. You can look forward to the Berliner Philharmoniker and its chief conductor Kirill Petrenko, to long-standing friends of the orchestra and talented young musicians, as well as our Composer in Residence Esa-Pekka Salonen. The season’s focus on “Identity” takes a look through a magnifying glass at important aspects of our time. Our Biennaleis dedicated to the music of the 1950s and 60s and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of György Ligeti.
