Felicitas Clamor-Hofmeister

»To communicate with one another on this level and to make music while also bringing joy to others is for me a special privilege.«

She played the piano, violin and cello since the age of four and won several first prizes on these instruments at the German national youth competition “Jugend musiziert”. Later Felicitas Clamor-Hofmeister decided to concentrate on the violin and studied with Valery Gradow and Helmut Heller, former Konzertmeister of the Berliner Philharmoniker, as well as at the music academies in Heidelberg-Mannheim, Berlin and Cologne with Roman Nodel, Tomasz Tomaszewski and Viktor Tretyakov.

In 1997 she passed her final examination and in 1999 gave her graduate recital, receiving highest marks for both. She has appeared as soloist with the Czech State Philharmonic, Hof and Nuremberg Symphony, Oldenburg State Theatre and Munich Radio Orchestras. Felicitas Clamor-Hofmeister is a member of the Venus Ensemble. She enjoys spending her free time most of all with her family, in nature or reading.
