Social Media
Facebook, YouTube and Twitter

If you want to keep up to date on what is happening with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Internet offers lots of opportunities to do so. In addition to the orchestra’s website and the Digital Concert Hall, there are now three other virtual entry points: YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

YouTube

Once or twice a week we add a new clip of a concert recording to YouTube. There are already almost 200 clips to watch, free of charge – including highlights of the Brahms cycle with Sir Simon Rattle as well as excerpts from guest performances by Claudio Abbado, Daniel Barenboim Gustavo Dudamel, Seiji Ozawa, Christian Thielemann and many more. In addition, there are interviews and other bonus material.

Facebook

More than 250,000 Facebook users have already registered as fans of the Berlin Philharmonic. By registering, you automatically receive news about the orchestra and upcoming live webcasts in the Digital Concert Hall. You can also contact other fans and chat about anything and everything to do with the Philharmoniker.

Twitter

The Berlin Philharmonic account on the microblogging service Twitter has 20 000 followers. Here we inform followers quickly and briefly about new live webcasts and current YouTube trailers, and send you links to interesting reviews and articles. We look forward to seeing you there.
