The Digital Concert Hall meets the highest technological demands. Five remote-controlled cameras make sure that you can see everything that goes on on the concert platform. Flash H.264 encoding ensures an excellent high-definition image, and audio is provided in AAC with a data transfer rate of up to 320 kbit/s. You can choose whether to use your computer, television or hi-fi system for an authentic, brilliant and gripping experience of the Berliner Philharmoniker. Depending on your internet connection, there are three different qualities to choose from:
700 kbit/s (for DSL 2000)
This transfer rate is suitable for basic DSL connections.
1.5 Mbit/s (for DSL 6000)
This is perfect for average speed DSL connections; it produces quality similar to that of a DVD.
2.5 Mbit/s (DSL 6000 and above)
With such a high-speed DSL connection you can now enjoy the best-possible picture quality on a par with HDTV.
Naturally, you don’t need to be a computer expert to enter the Digital Concert Hall. It’s an easy, intuitive process. Try it out!
