There are different ways of using the Digital Concert Hall. People who like things simple watch it on their computers. Then there are those who prefer to watch it on the television, connecting it to their laptops. Now there are even more ways to enjoy the Berliner Philharmoniker’s online concerts from the comfort of your own living-room: with Sony TV and Blu-ray™ appliances which have direct internet access.
As more and more videos are available on the World Wide Web, what could be more convenient than watching them on your television set? The new Sony internet tv makes this possible: Watch the programmes you missed with catch-up TV services or view video clips from popular sharing websites such as YouTube over LCD TVs, Blu-ray™ Player and Blu-ray™ Home Cinema systems. Thanks to a partnership between the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sony, all of the videos in the Digital Concert Hall archive will also be available – and of course in brilliant HD video and audio quality.
Standard Digital Concert Hall tickets give you access to this service. So anyone who purchases a 30-Day Pass or 12-Month Pass can watch the concerts by the Berliner Philharmoniker on Sony internet tv at no extra cost.
