Academy 1 - Treasures for the First Sunday in Advent
12:00 | Kammermusiksaal
As prelude to the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Orchestra Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker, current students of the Orchestra Academy perform gems from the chamber-music repertoire at a seasonal lunch concert. Klaus Wallendorf, a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker and teacher at the Orchestra Academy, sets the mood as narrator on this first Sunday of Advent. This very family-friendly matinee is suitable for children of 8 years of age and over. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends are of course also welcome. For younger children, there is a special programme provided by our Education Department. Registration information at: www.berliner-philharmoniker.de/education.
