Partnership

Every season finds the Education Department of the Berlin Philharmonic engaging in special project partnerships with different areas of the city-state of Berlin. This means that musicians from the orchestra are devoting special attention to these various neighbourhoods: for example with their so-called Kofferkonzerte (“On the move”), in which players bring their music to social institutions, and with the events we call KlangKIDS (“MusiKIDS”), in which they visit local kindergartens. In addition to these, of course, are numerous other projects intended to stimulate interest in the Philharmonic and its music among residents of all districts of Berlin.
